We certainly thank the medical team members. We extend our sincere appreciation. It is a big sacrifice for them to leave their home and family to come to The Gambia to help. They are helping to alleviate the suffering of the people.

Even though the medical team is in the urban area, in the capital, they have volunteered to go to provinces and have medical camps to treat people. And the people are asking, "When are they coming again?"

I think the Chinese support is unique in quite a lot of ways. You give us the equipment, and you also give us the people to help us, work with those equipment and train our people for sustainability. In the health sector, the hospital training has been remarkable. The capacity building of obstetricians and gynecologists, the setting up of the gynecology center at the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital, training people in endoscopy, training people in laparoscopy, and also conducting those services at the hospital, really have been phenomenal. And really we are very appreciative.
